Volunteer Positions
If you are interested in getting involved in the exciting world of CALOC as a volunteer, there are a few positions still available within our array of departments. Please forward your resume and interested area of expertise to dimbeau@boldtracks.com

Sponsorship Lead #1 and #2 - Are you a strong relationship builder? Conduct yourself in a professional manner and like to link like minded individuals together? If so, then we need you in Sponsorship. Reporting to the Marketing Chair and working closely with the other Sponsorship Lead, this position would be charged with researching, contacting, engaging, and fulfilling sponsorship agreements with all levels of CALOC partners. Partnerships will be engaged locally, nationally, and internationally. There may be some travel involved with this position. Individuals with strong networking abilities and a keen interest in business synergy need apply. Technical writing will be an asset but not mandatory as various levels of contracts and negotiations will be exercised. If you like aligning needs and wants with solutions and supplies, Sponsorship is the right area for you. Flexible hours, year round.

Merchandise Lead - Do you like to shop? Know a good bargain when you see it? Are always on the forefront of fashion trends? If so, do we have a Department for you to Champion! Reporting to the Marketing Chair, this position is given the exciting task of aligning CALOC's brand with merchandise both for sale and giveaway. By building key relationships in the industry and researching trends in the Nordic world, the Merchandise Lead will execute a detailed merchandise business plan in the hopes of furthering CALOCs global brand recognition as well as providing a new revenue stream for the organization. If you have a solid retail background and a good eye for style and trends, we need you. This position does have the capacity to oversee staff as well as control budgets. The Merchandise Lead will also work in various markets (web, local, national) and with multiple suppliers and sales reps to successfully solicit CALOC branded product for sale. Flexible hours, year round.

Promotions Lead - Are you the life of the party? Enough energy and enthusiasm to power the Energizer Rabbit? if so, look no further as this position is for you! Reporting to the Marketing Chair, the Promotions Lead will Champion his or her Team in a public forum. Embodying the characteristics that make CALOC so special, the Promotion Lead will establish key links within the communities of the Corridor to find unique opportunities to showcase CALOC and the four Nordic sport disciplines. Plenty of support will be provided with SWAG, print, and presentation displays, as well as tents, athletes, and our own CALOC 10's Cheer Squad. All you need is the energy and the enthusiasm and a capacity to share knowledge and excitement with the general public. Mainly weekends, seasonal.

Accommodations Lead - The purpose of this position is to ensure that CALOC facilitates accommodation solutions for each of the events. Accommodation solutions may include hotels, motels, cabins, dorms, B&Bs, vacation homes and homestay/billeting. Lead should be familiar with the accommodation industry, industry norms and how to resolve customer complaints.
